Projects

The 3 teams within LALT deliver a number of projects, often in collaboration with academics and/or other departments.

For example, The Lincoln First Year Project is a collaboration between the University Library and Digital Education & Student Life and is overseen by DVC Prof Liz Mossop. The aim of the project is to ease the transition of new first year students into university with support and resources provided in advance of them starting and available to them throughout their first year.

The Digital Student Life team is also involved in two projects externally funded by the Office for Students – the Transitional Mental Health project and the Graduate Skills Builder project. The first is in collaboration with the University’s Wellbeing Team and the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute, the second is with the University Careers Service.

In 2020, Digital Student Life also won funding from the Lincolnshire Community Foundation to develop student-created content to encourage students to follow COVID-19 rules and guidelines.
